This is our second Agent18 case for an IPOD, we’ve really loved both. What makes this case great is that it comes with a matching docking plate, so you can leave your IPOD in the case and dock it in a base successfully. We have some speaker bases, and this really makes a major difference to us. The cases themselves are thicker plastic, very durable, and do a nice job of protecting the IPODs from damage. You can still easily access all controls, but it saves you from scratching up the backs of your devices and keeps them much cleaner.

I thought this was going to be a flexible silicone-like case. Perhaps I missed the full description. Instead it was a hard plastic case with some fine texture to it. Nevertheless, it’ll do the job intended and provides adequate protection without adding bulk to the iTouch device.

Let me start by saying, this case may be one of the more expensive cases out there, but it’s well worth it! My main concern when I got my ipod touch was scratching the touch screen. One of the employee’s at my local apple store suggested the Agent 18 case for me. I bought one and loved it almost immediately. It’s super durable, easy to put on and take off (if necessary), and it actually looks pretty sharp. I got the Black model for my ipod. I’ve dropped my ipod countless times, it’s slid off the seat of my car and onto the floor, it even fell out of my pocket and landed in my driveway once! (thankfully it landed on the back, and not the screen that time) To date I don’t have a single scratch on my screen. The raised lip around the screen gives you a little added protection in case it does land screen down. The screen won’t come into direct contact with the surface it’s on. My case has a few bumps and bruises on it, even a few knicks and dents, but better in the case than on the ipod I say. My only complaints are minor. 1) To clean the screen thoroughly I have to remove the case (which is easy to do) because otherwise cleaner builds up and slips underneath the edge of the case where it meets the screen. and 2) after a few times of removing and replacing the case (I usually take it off once a day to clean my screen) it doesn’t seem to hold onto the ipod as tight as it did when it was new. I have no worries about it falling off at all, but there is a little ‘wiggle’ between the ipod and case. Nothing that I really worry about. All in all it’s a great case, I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a case for their ipod touch.

After reading reviews on Apple and Amazon nothing really grabbed me so I got the Agent 18 Clear Case. I got this case because a friend of mine had it.
It’s very sleek and doesn’t make your Touch feel bulky. It’s incredibly easy to snap on your iPod and is very secure once installed. The cloudy clear plastic makes your iPod look cool too.
This case doesn’t cover the screen so I would leave the factory screen protector on there. I’m not sure if other cases have a thin layer of plastic incorporated into it – I don’t think the screen can be heavily protected beyond the thin film they sell.
The Agent 18 isn’t good for people that want to secure it to their arm since there’s no clip. It comes with a universal dock connector thing though.
Overall really good product at a decent price.
