I love this case. It has a great grip to it and big corner bumpers to cushion any falls. And the earbud cord management is ingenious--it's a wonder nobody has thought of that before. If you use other headphones they might not fit into the holes as snugly. There is a recessed power button hole at the top and a hole for the light sensor too. Nice touches. And you cannot beat the low price (remember, it even comes with a surface shield)!

But there are a few corrections I want to offer to what other reviewers are saying about this case:

1) The case is not slippery at all. In fact, it will readily catch onto any clothing it comes into contact with. That and the nubby grips on the sides virtually assures that it won't get away from you.

2) The case does not attract lint. I don't know what kind of poorly made clothing these people are wearing, but the case looks as new and pristine as the day I bought it (6 months ago). It doesn't collect anything.

3) The case stays firmly in contact with the iPod and doesn't stretch out over time, even if you do occasionally have to take it out to replace the screen protector for example.

4) The hole in the back by the cord management feature is designed to hold the headphone cord, not some sort of "lanyard" thing. The other reviewer obviously didn't read the instructions. The reason for this is great. If your iPod gets away from you while you're wearing it (like at the gym on a machine and it gets knocked off) the secured headphone cord catches the iPod before it can fall to the floor AND doesn't put any tension on the jack itself. This has saved my iPod a handful of times.

5) The screen protector that comes with it is thick and perfectly sized. Any problems with applying it are the users fault. You just have to be careful and iron out any bubbles. Just follow the instructions to the letter.

6) The silicone is plenty thick to protect it. It doesn't feel thin and insubstantial at all. I certainly wouldn't want or need it to be any thicker.

7) Lastly, and most importantly, you don't have to remove your iPod from this case to attach it to a dock. The secret is not to use your customized dock insert at all. I have the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers and out of the box the DLO Jam Jacket fits perfectly. Those different dock inserts that come with the different iPods are meant to stabilize the iPod so it won't move. With this case, no dock insert is needed at all because it's thick enough to stabilize itself quite nicely.

All in all, this is the best case around for the iPod Touch. The ONLY problem a person would have is if they used other types of headphones that didn't fit into the holes in the back. If you use the Apple ones (or ones closely sized to them) then you should love this case just as much as I do.

This case is flexible, with a "gummy" feel to it. It can be bent, stretched and conforms easily. It's a good fit and the transparent screen protector, which is not attached, slides onto the glass with a perfect fit. I wouldn't know it was on there had I not put it on myself. I think it's a good buy. I'd definitely recommend it.

I definately needed a case for my touch. I carry it in my purse so i didn't want things like pencils and keys scratching it up. Plus I had one for my nano and it worked really well. It's also good because my fingers tended to sweat when i held it for too long. The picture made this case look really bulky to me but it's actually not. Though the picture makes it look like solid white, it really is clear.

Surface Shields
Like most of you it took a little while for me to get the surface shields on but you're gonna have that with other surface shields. I couldn't get all the dust off of my touch but the air bubbles don't really bother me. I used the credit card idea to smooth it. Once I got it on, the actual case was very easy to put on.

Cord Management
It is for ipod earphones but I use them anyway. If I'm walking in the cold my ears start hurting so I use old school headphones. but I don't keep them with my touch anyway. I didn't have any trouble winding it. I started with the earphones plugged into the touch and started winding on the left side. Then I used the little notches on the side and it was easy to get the earphones in. Finally I disconnected the earphone jack and slid it in. Copy and paste this URL into your browser to see the result:
[...]
For those of you whose earphones broke when taking them out, if you take them out at an angle instead of pulling them straight out, it's impossible for them to break.

Case
This case feels really nice and doesn't block the wifi connectivity. I also like the fact that it's got thicker corners and good grips. When the touch is turned sideways, I can hold it by the case management which was really helpful when I was using the AeroGuitar app. I don't use a dock so I can't say much about that.

Both my boys received i-Pod touches for Christmas. They were very specific as to the type of case they wanted. We searched the stores without much luck. We found the Jam Jackets on Amazon and it was exactly what they were looking for. We received them the NEXT day and paid less then half what they were in stores. Their i-Pods are well protected. They don't slide around and they are cushioned. Very nice.

great slip cover - headphones are annoying to wrap around - need to remove slip case to dock in station but great gripping and feels like a sturdy holder
