I was disappointed with this product. I was expecting a hard case to protect my Ipod touch, not a skin to apply to it. For $25 I should have received more than plastic covering and a glue stick. In all honesty I haven’t applied it to my Itouch. I’m too afraid to ruin it. Instead I brought an acrylic casae to surround and protect it. That’s what I thought I was purchasing when I ordered this.

I love my ipod and i paid a lot of money for it so i researched cases and such and found that a lot of cases let dirt into it and scratched the back of the ipod. I HATE SCRATCHES, so i researched this product and saw alot of positive reviews, so I bought it. WRONG CHOICE! Complete waste of money!
1. It does’t apply like other screen protecters(if you have ever applied a screen protector, then you know what I mean).
2. The spray they give you doesn’t even keep fingerprints off it.
3. If this protected hellicopter wings, then we had alot of hellicopters crashing, I scratched it with my fingernail!
4. The squegee they give you SUCKS! There is so many air bubbles in it I can’t even fit on my griffin iclear case!
5. I researched this product, watched all the installation videos and scratch test videos, and this is the most falsly advertised product ever.
6. Way overpriced!
7. The plastic doesn’t even fit and I had too cut off some edges so that they wouldn’t catch on something and pull more of the plastic off the ipod.
8. Part of the plastic didn’t have any glue or something on it, so it didn’t stick to the ipod.
9. They say that “micro bubbles and imperfections will work themselves out in 2-3 days” LIE! I’m writing this review five days after I installed the “invisible shield” (invisible if you’re blind)and bubbles and dirt still haven’t come out, and I worked on it for at least 30 minutes when I first put it on, and since then.
Total waste of money and there is no way that all the reviews for this product are legit.

Shannon Hatched is right that you dont get scratches.
But for the IPOD TOUCH specifically which I bought the invisible shield for.
There is a bad design flaw that keeps this product from being effective in covering THE ENTIRE FRONT SIDE.
The front sheet covers the entire front area of the ipod touch, so that means the flat main screen AND THE ROUNDED EDGES.
Now if you ever try to put a flat sheet on a surface with slight curved edges you get bubble bumps in the 4 corners. Reason being the area covered by the sheet provided covers MORE area than exists on the front panel.
And even then, if you try to stubbornly push those edges of the sheet down to cover the ipod touch front panel edges, you NOT ONLY get bubbles in the freaking corners (im really annoyed right now) you get tiny bubbles lining where the edge border meets the main black screen and if you TRY to smooth them out…..the edges pop back up…
Bad design flaw – if the product only covered the main screen and not the edges it would be great but it doesnt so dont buy it for the IPOD TOUCH.
If you dont believe me, try it….youll throw it away…like I did…
ALSO
- If you mess up and try to peel it off, it will only come off easily after the first few minutes, after it starts to dry, youll stretch it if you try pulling it off the ipod touch.
- Dont try trimming it without the paper backing either, youll get frayed edges if you dont cut off a minimum amount of area (due to the thickness)
Good things about it? Okay it does prevent against scratches..
But that doesnt matter because it doesnt go on that nicely.
Anyways, my two cents – not worth throwing 20 dollars away.
I think Ill go for screen protectors and a solid back for the case.
Good luck

I was expecting, from what I have heard, for this to be the best iPod Touch case you could get. In theory it sounds like a great product, a case you can barely see. However getting it on the iPod is another thing. I spent roughly an hour trying to get both the front and back sides on. Believe me I had read other reviews like this one and thought that they were just doing it wrong. Do not buy this, it’s just better to have no case. I wasted $25.

it is the worst product ever. it takes hours to put on and then easily peel off. i was holding it in my hand and the back part came off and my ipod touch fell on the floor. they also don’t provide enough solution for it. even thought it is called the full shield it doesn’t protect the whole ipod, the left side on my ipod is still vulnerable to scratches.
