You simply stretch it and fit the iPod Touch inside. It makes the iPod Touch easy to grab and hang on to. The separate film screen protector goes on flawlessly. The only drawback for me is that my iPod Touch will find itself tossed in a backpack or pocketbook more often than not. Since the case isn't integrated with the screen cover, dust/debris will undoubtedly find its way underneath the edges of the case around the screen so I will use an additional case of some kind just to make sure I don't wreck it. I'm sure I can recycle something around the house for that. Despite that, this case will certainly protect it from the knocks of life associated with a spouse, 2 dogs and a cat. The clear screen cover went on great, no bubbles or dust underneath. This has protected my ipod very well. The other day it slipped out of my hand and flew into the street, bouncing a couple of times on the asphalt. Because of this cover, my ipod had no damage whatsoever. The cover has a great fit as well, with the entire screen and all buttons/connections fully accessible. The only draw back is that it does make it a little more bulky and you would have to remove the cover to use an armband. One thing to be aware of is that you have to take the cover off in order to use any docking devices (eg, speakers). Over time, this leads to deterioration of the product.
